Meet Maddie

Realtor. Marketer. Marathoner. Mom. In that order, and also all at once.

I'm a Puerto Rican Latina Realtor based in Commerce City, Colorado. I'm fully bilingual in English and Spanish. My husband Scott is a VA nurse. Our son Milo keeps us honest, and the Steamboat Marathon keeps us humble.

The Backstory

From SEO consultant to Realtor, because clients kept asking.

Most Realtors pick up marketing as a side skill. Maddie did it the other way around.

2008

Marketing at the ground floor.

I worked at a tech company for fifteen years doing digital marketing and SEO before real estate ever entered the picture. At eighteen I was sketching website wireframes on paper for SEO developers. I'm not a Realtor who picked up tech. I'm a technologist who picked up real estate.

2018

Virtuance, where listings meet strategy.

I joined Virtuance in Denver as a marketing consultant, advising Realtors on how to sell listings faster and for more money using SEO, photography, and digital positioning. This is when I stopped watching real estate from the outside and started learning how it actually works.

2021

The license, because clients kept asking.

After three years of advising agents on how to market their listings, I kept getting the same question from their clients: 'Can you just represent me directly?' I got licensed through HomeSmart in 2021, moved to Keller Williams, then Slice Realty, and finally landed at eXp where I built Wildflower Colorado Home Co.

2024 onward

Wildflower Colorado Home Co.

The brand is a marketer's answer to the 'North Metro Denver Realtor' trap. I don't sell geography. I sell the life clients are trying to build. Rightsizing seniors, first-time buyers in Brighton, bilingual Latino families, military spouses navigating relocations. That's my list.

The Credentials

Designations that shape how Maddie works.

SRES

Seniors Real Estate Specialist

A National Association of Realtors designation for agents who specialize in buyers and sellers over 50. Covers HOPA-compliant 55+ communities, reverse mortgages (HECMs), probate sales, and using retirement accounts in real estate transactions. Maddie completed the curriculum and maintains annual renewal.

SFR

Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource

An NAR certification for agents working with distressed property sellers and buyers. Covers short sale navigation, foreclosure mitigation, and protecting buyers purchasing distressed homes. Maddie uses this in pre-foreclosure, divorce, and investor transactions.

eXp

eXp Realty LLC — The Brokerage

Maddie operates under eXp Realty, one of the largest and fastest-growing brokerages in the country with a collaborative virtual-first model. Her Wildflower Colorado Home Co brand lives inside eXp, giving her the marketing freedom of an independent with the transaction muscle of a national firm.

WCR

Women's Council of Realtors

Maddie is an active member of the Women's Council of Realtors, a nationwide network of women in real estate focused on leadership, business development, and community service.

Also In Development

Maddie is evaluating adding RCS-D (Real Estate Collaboration Specialist for Divorce) and CPRES (Certified Probate Real Estate Specialist) in 2026 to complete her life-transitions toolkit.

Off The Clock

The people, places, and habits behind the work.

Family First

Scott (husband, VA nurse since 2018) and Milo (son, official snack negotiator) keep Maddie grounded. Family trips to Granby and long weekends in the Rockies are non-negotiable.

Running the Marathon

Maddie and Scott have run the Steamboat Marathon together. The lesson from mile 22 applies to real estate: pace yourself, trust the plan, finish strong.

Community Over Corporate

Maddie co-runs Shed Light Designs on the side, supports youth at-risk causes, and builds events like clothing swaps and neighborhood movie nights because real estate is about people, not portfolios.

How Maddie Works

Four principles. Every client. Every transaction.

  1. 01

    Clarity before closing.

You will always know what I know. If I'm seeing a concern in the inspection, the disclosures, or the market, I tell you the day I see it. No surprise phone calls the night before closing.

  2. 02

    Strategy, not scripts.

Every listing and every offer gets a strategy tailored to your timeline and your numbers. I was a marketer before I was a Realtor, so pricing, positioning, and negotiation are not afterthoughts. They are the work.

  3. 03

    Bilingual by default.

English, español, o mezclado. Para mis clientes latinos, la representación completa en español no es un extra. Es el estándar.

  4. 04

    Your pace, not mine.

Rightsizing from a family home is not the same velocity as a first-time purchase. I match your timeline. If that means six months of quiet nurture before we list, that's the plan.
